  • The Casa de la Vall, located in Andorra la Vieja, is the former headquarters of the General Council of Andorra. Now converted into a museum and there are guided tours of half an hour. A visit to Andorra's past It is very unique and interesting, especially the wardrobe of the seven keys and the council lounge.

  • This weekend during a work trip I had the opportunity to visit the Casa de la Vall. Apart from being an excellent example of local architecture, the guided tour - the only way to see the interior - gives a review of the history of Europe's oldest parliament that has been running for 700 years, revealing many details about Andorra's history up to recent era. Also, the guide who attended me, Emma, was at all times very friendly and attentive, offered me the possibility to make me a "passport" to be able to visit two other museums at half price and, did a great job explaining everything in detail and taking the group. I would also like to thank the group and its guide who came from a town near Barcelona who out of deference to me did the tour in Spanish even though it was programmed in Catalan (I would have done it in Catalan and ask if I did not understand , but insisted that a detail be made in Spanish. It is not allowed to take photos or record video inside, and accessibility is limited due to the age of the property. It is not wheelchair accessible and guests have to climb stairs. I hope that in the future a solution will be found for these architectural barriers and we can all enjoy the museum. It is also advisable to inform beforehand that you want to make the visit because of the linguistic theme, I was very lucky that the guide and the group were very friendly, but I understand that you are not obliged to change the language of the visit for one or two people. This also makes it easier for guides to work. Every half hour a new group enters to do the guided tour. I'll be back for sure! Passeu bé!

  • Much better than I expected, very unique place. Totally worth the tour
  • Historic house. We didn't visit inside because it required a guided tour and due to time constraints we decided to skip it.
