  • It's worth ducking in here to get a moment of calm. This historic church has stunning stained glass windows which reflect coloured light on to the benches inside in quite an other worldly way. There's...  more »
  • This is the church of Sant Esteve, the Catholic church, St. Stephen (Esglesia de Sant Esteve). Italian handwriting is visible in this 12th century building. To this day has not reached its original appearance. 800 years of its history were not cloudless, it was repeatedly rebuilt. This is a beautiful church, which amazes with a combination of incredible austerity in interior design and incredible beauty of stained glass windows and schematic depiction of the biblical scene above the altar. It is amazing how some examples of 18th century paintings have survived. Externally, the design of the church is distinguished by the Romanesque bell tower and the tower. Free entry. Behind the church is a mini cafe. Walking through the city streets, with pleasure to drink a cup of fragrant coffee.

  • Another building with history in the city of Andorra La Vella is the parish church of San Esteban or Sant Esteve, from which a part of the original Romanesque temple is still preserved. Among the most important modifications that have been made we can name the remodelling of the belfry and the current side entrance that was the work of the modernist architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch
