Belarusian State Circus, Minsk

4.3
At Belarusian State Circus, see many different kinds of performances--from water shows to aerial acrobatics. A hallmark of former Soviet countries, the new circus preserves the atmosphere of the old attraction. It was erected in place of the original wooden building from 1930. Notice the sculptures of a horseman, a pyramid of animals, and a clown in front of the building. The circus features four basic arenas, a training ground, a ballet room, and a swimming pool. • I paid 45 BYN for a level 2 VIP ticket. I was quite disappointed that a cable obscured my view somewhat but this was overcome by the delight of the outstanding spectacle. I would prefer not to see bea...  more »
  • The National Circus of Belarus in Minsk is a marvel, both by the pomp of the building built all in concrete, with internal corridors that looks more like an opera house, Cono also by the artists who present there. The Soviet Union was known by its circus artists. On this stage you contemplate belarutic, Ukrainian and Uzbek artists. Animals and a wonderful stage. Besides, the entrance is pretty cheap. Unmissable program for those visiting the city of Minsk

  • Somewhat of an interesting building but looks nothing like a circus. Looks more like a government building if anything. Most of the structures here in Minsk all look the same. Unfortunately nothing really exciting to talk about when it comes to the designs. Lack of use of colors and in all honesty creativity as well. The city is amazing and the people are wonderful to speak with. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the architecture.
  • Nice show but some parts of show need to shape up
