Explore one of the largest collections of Belarusian and foreign art at The National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus. Opened in 1939, the museum moved to its present two-story building with 10 spacious halls in 1957. It houses over 27,000 works of art. When you visit, leave your bags in the cloakroom downstairs and get an audio guide at the museum shop. As you wander the museum, notice the portraits of grand dukes and their families. You'll see heroic revolutionary art, including evocative pictures of Minsk, which was devastated by bombing. The museum also features a vast collection of modern art, as well as Asian art from the 14th-20th centuries. Amenities include a cafe and a shop selling postcards, books, and other souvenirs. • A long queue for tickets and the lady spoke no English. When I showed her 10 BYN and my phone she understood I wanted adult entry (8) plus photography (2). Very nice portraits and well worth an hour o...  more »
  • I love him and I often do. It is centrally located, there is a metro. I like to walk here on a debt considering pictures. The exposition is good. The museum itself is not the largest in the world, but worthy. The museum's funds comprise more than 27 000 works. The museum has a library, a cinema club, a lecture hall, a children's art studio and an art café.

  • Its small but organized, they have some temp and permanent thing. The little cute cafe is nice and it tastes good. The employees are knowledgeable and pretty friendly(although some take time to warm-up, those end up the best people). Over all I recommend to visit this place.
  • Nice place in neoclassical style. Good gallery with reach collection of art!
