Formerly the Musée de Cluny, Musee De Cluny houses a variety of important medieval artifacts, particularly its tapestry collection. The most famous tapestry of the collection is the 15th-century "La Dame à la Licorne" (The Lady and the Unicorn). Other notable works include early medieval sculptures from the 7th and 8th centuries, as well as gold, ivory, antique furnishings, stained glass, and illuminated manuscripts. You'll also marvel at the building itself, from its colorful stained glass room to the Roman baths and the "Pillar of the Boatmen" carved in the 1st century CE. This is an awesome little museum. It is inexpensive to visit at only 5 euros and you can see a great deal of medieval art for this. The tapestries of the lady and the unicorn are lovely and an awesome things to see when you can appreciate the detail of such an old piece of art so closely. The other medieval items are very interesting and we also found the Roman baths so cool, the architecture is amazing! One of my favorite museums in Paris!

It was stunning to be in a building so ancient. Being in the baths from medieval times felt surreal. They don't have a lot of artifacts, but they're so old and you can get right up close which made it an excellent place to visit. The place was cool on a hot summer day so I definitely recommend if you need to cool off. The tapestries of the Lady and Unicorn were amazing to see in person. I very much recommend this place.
