Rausch Schokoladenhaus, Berlin

#4 of 144 in Shopping in Berlin
One of Berlin's classic shopping destinations, Rausch Schokoladenhaus seduces chocoholics with its rows of handsomely packaged truffles and pralines. The store opened in 1999, after two major chocolate-making families joined to form one of the largest chocolatiers in the world. Take a behind-the-scenes tour of its modern manufacturing facility and admire the huge chocolate sculptures of some of Berlin's most recognizable landmarks. Though you cannot buy or taste these chocolate masterpieces, you can choose from over 200 varieties of pre-packaged chocolate goodies at the on-site factory outlet store. Finish your visit at the upstairs cafe, which serves traditional chocolate drinks and cakes, as well as savory dishes seasoned with cocoa. • Rausch is a household name in Berlin and the surrounding area. The property is very large and houses a café and exhibits. Yet the ground floor is the most beautiful. Chocolate is sold here and beautiful sculptures of chocolate such as the Brandenburg Gate or the Siegessaule are sold. Of course the necessary bought and taken to Amsterdam mm.

  • Cafe and shop located Gendarmenmarkt, very close to the unter den Linden avenue. The products offered are simply wonderful. In the cafeteria located on the 2nd floor stands out both the view and the pastry. The wide variety of chocolates on sale on the ground floor, is of excellent quality. Prices however are very high, everything is expensive. A luxury and a taste for chocolate lovers.

  • Great service! Even better chocolates, cakes, hot chocolate. I can recommend the hot chocolate pellets to take home. A bit expensive, but that is what you pay for quality.
  • Wonderful place. The chocolate shop is to die for! The cafe is great, classy, well decorated serving delicious cakes and hot drinks. Definitely worth a visit!
