Rausch Schokoladenhaus, Berlin

#3 of 129 in Shopping in Berlin
One of Berlin's classic shopping destinations, Rausch Schokoladenhaus seduces chocoholics with its rows of handsomely packaged truffles and pralines. The store opened in 1999, after two major chocolate-making families joined to form one of the largest chocolatiers in the world. Take a behind-the-scenes tour of its modern manufacturing facility and admire the huge chocolate sculptures of some of Berlin's most recognizable landmarks. Though you cannot buy or taste these chocolate masterpieces, you can choose from over 200 varieties of pre-packaged chocolate goodies at the on-site factory outlet store. Finish your visit at the upstairs cafe, which serves traditional chocolate drinks and cakes, as well as savory dishes seasoned with cocoa. • Chocolate with chocolate in Berlin not far higher staff and delicious. In the under construction space just because evaluation is a 4, but chocolate is fine. I especially high cocoa content chocolate is recommended.

  • I tried almost all hot chocolates in Berlin. This place has the best! Get the dark chocolate one with whipped cream. (Craving one while writing) Slightly pricy but def worth it ! Have fun and don’t forget to hit the gym after that
  • When it comes to chocolate, I’m very picky and passionate. I try all kinds at various intensities. This place has THE BEST CHOCOLATE in Berlin, if not in the world. Whether it’s the hot chocolate or various tablets from 60% to 80%, they are all special in one way or the other and they are done to perfection. My favorites were the Ecuador 70% and the Trinidad 80%. The hot chocolate was something so good that I haven’t tasted anything that good anywhere else in the world. Definitely a must for chocolate lovers.
