Volcanic rock surrounds the area where a thorny weed shrub, baavlia, once wreaked environmental havoc; after years of efforts by the Khandwaliya miners, the weed-free park now opens its doors to all visitors. See the collection of native plants adapted to arid areas of the Thar Desert, and visit the nursery to learn about techniques used to grow plant life in such difficult terrains. Careful not to walk off the designated paths, so as to protect the fragile vegetation here. Away from the noise of town it is a great place to spend some time in peace. It bears an entry ticket of Rs. 100/ per person which is a little lot. There are different routes you can take to complete.... more »

Perfect place to explore local flora & fauna, the assortment of rocks is a plus. The trails are well designed & well maintained. Its a great place for a small hike, averages 1 km for any of the trails. Yellow trail is popular for afternoon goers.

A nice place to be if you want to escape the busyness of the city and hear some birds chirping and have some breeze in your hair. I enjoyed hiking around at the end of my day. Only wish they stayed open a bit later so I could actually watch sunset from there.
