    If you like to visit step wells this is easy to find. You may well pass it going into town and be able to stop your rickshaw driver as we did on the way. It’s quite small, but enough to take a few...  more »

    Very old step well in the heart of the blue city.. surrounded by the good cafes and very good hotel.. good for photography....good example of old civil engineering.. I can spent almost hours and can appreciate the beauty... #peace #serene

    Restored step well that was under water for many years. It's not a rubbish filled sewer, of which there are unfortunately in abundance elsewhere. I certainly wouldn't go in the water, but one could go in! Unlike most stepwells, this one hasn't been fenced off (yet). You can walk down the water worn steps to the edge.
