At Mahalakshmi Temple, witness how devotees passionately worship the Hindu goddess Mahalaxmi, the central deity of the sacret text called the "Devi Mahatmyam." Look for the statue of the goddess (devi), which the chief engineer dreamt of and actually recovered from the sea during the temple's construction in 1831. Examine the idols adorned with nose rings, pearl necklaces, and gold bangles.     Very nice, clean and peaceful temple. Security personal are very helpful and polite. Flower vendors are nice but blocking the pavement. Municipal Van come sometime to seize the vendors belonging but that is not enough. Some more strict actions required. In case of emergency, it will be difficult to enter fire tender.

    Their queue system is systematic, the temple surroundings well maintained , appreciate if they'd provided shaded places or pavements while standing in queue from road level , yes also their security system is pretty efficient. Any selfie lovers, look out they don't allow you to click photographs. Their toilets can be improved and maintained well.
