A lakeside conglomeration of structures merged into a fort-like whole, City Palace of Udaipur represents one of the most iconic and popular attractions in the entire state. You'll immediately notice the palace's crowning glory as you approach--a lengthy and intricate white facade that stretches for 244 m (801 ft) along the lakefront, complete with numerous balconies and verandas. Begun in 1599 by the founder of the city, the palace eventually grew into a semi-connected complex of similar structures. Wander the extensive grounds and explore the numerous courtyards, halls, and elephant-fighting pits within, long used by the ruling family still in possession of the property. Don't miss stopping by the palace's museum to learn more about the history of the region and the fortress itself. great art , loved the palace. The palace itself is quite beautiful but there are too many packages in offer. Getting into the general grounds is 30 rupees but if you wanted to visit the museum then it's an additional 500 rupees. The gardens are quite nice to walk through. The best part was the sunset boat ride to Jag Palace. This is the place to visit, it's the most beautiful site with stunning views and amazing architecture. Definitely recommend doing this trip if you get a chance.

Just WOW! The palace is magical with its stunning architecture. You can see many classy paintings and century-old majestic mirrors. There are some silent and nice spots to sit and have a coffee if you wish. Thanks to the authorities for maintaining this place the way it deserves. There is sufficient parking space outside if you are coming in your vehicle.Must must visit....
