Located on a tabletop-shaped hill, Janardhana Swami Temple represents a jewel of Keralan architecture. Embark on the moderately difficult climb up the stairs to the top of the hill, where you'll see the richly colored gate to the temple. Admire the two idols that guard the gate and proceed into the beautifully built and decorated site, where you'll find another idol of Sri in the main shrine. Take a break after the hike by the temple’s pond and well, which brims with clear water. You can’t take photographs inside the temple, but you can take plenty of great snaps from the outside.
