One of the largest Muslim religious sites in the country, Grande Mosquee du Plateau remains unfinished but open for visitors. Initiated in 1996 to create a place of worship for Plateau's Muslim population, the mosque boasts a richly decorated facade and tall minarets, along with a blue dome and marble floors inside.   • If you are anyway in Plateau district, it makes sense to see the mosque but I would not go there just for the mosque. It is pretty difficult to take a good photo of the building, because of other...  more »
  • It is better colouring than the mosque in Yamoussoukro but that's it. The problem is trying to capture good images due to being so close to the building once on the outdoor terracing. Also...  more »
  • Place of prayers, clean and well located.
  • Really cool places for muslim family. Well organized. The thing that might is the fact that one have to pay before using the toilet. Nothing pricy. Something like 50fcfa. It helps for the maintenance of the place..and yes IT IS CLEAN.
