  • We had a wonderful 2 hour ride, booked through our resort. The horses were amazing, very easy for us inexperienced riders. Such beautiful views, I didn’t want it to end! Highly recommend this...  more »

  • The horse are energetic and good with people. Thanks for the guide and his friend that we had fresh coconut water and jelly on the way. And the views are fascinating. The two doggies followed us all the way and chasing after birds and bathed in the river. Highly recommended!
  • I have been horseback riding several times in Aruba and it was amazing. I was looking forward to horseback riding in St. Lucia because the company advertises at the resort I was at ( coconut bay) and it sounded amazing. Myself and two young ladies from the same resort where I was staying were the only three to go that day. The owner of the business, Max, wasn’t very talkative. He made us sign a release which was expected and then suggested that we wear helmets. I have never worn a helmet on a horse before and I wasn’t interested in wearing a used helmet. This freaked all three of us out to start with and all three of us declined and signed a waiver. After the three horses were chosen, he asked us if we were experienced. All three of us said we were experienced, had we not been experienced, this would have been even worse than it was. He took us out and all three horses seemed to hate each other. They kept trying to bite each other and just did not get along. Max spent most of his time quiet or on his cell phone. He wasn’t very much of a tour guide unless we asked questions and got a very brief answer. We stopped halfway through the two hour ride and he gave us bottles of water and didn’t even offer to take photos like other tour guides from other excursions. We basically felt unsafe and the ride was very boring. He took us near the water but we did not go in the water which we were hoping for, at least I know I was. We saw other tourists on horses running through the water and it looked amazing. I do not recommend this particular horseback riding excursion to anyone. It was just awful and very disappointing.
