Kick off your visit on the 5th (Fri): examine the collection at Saint Sophia Cathedral, see the interesting displays at Belarusian Museum of Typography, then pause for some serene contemplation at Bogoyavlenskiy Cathedral/ Epiphany Cathedral, then get engrossed in the history at Local Lore Museum, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Saint Euphrosyne Monastery. On the next day, steep yourself in history at Immortality Hill, then see the interesting displays at Polotsk National Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve, then learn about all things military at Polotsk Museum of Medieval Knighthood, and finally make a trip to Symeon of Polotsk Monument.

The capital city of the region of the same name, Grodno (also called Hrodna) was built around the river flowing through it, and is known as a hub for the arts celebrating both modern and classical culture with three major theaters, a philharmonic society, and a multitude of museums.
Museum-lovers will appreciate Pharmacy Museum and The Watchtower of the fire department and a Fire Museum. Do some cultural sightseeing at The Jesuit Catholic Church and Holy Intercession Cathedral. Explore Grodno's surroundings by going to Lida (Lida Castle & The Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross). And it doesn't end there: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Kircha / Evangelistic Church, go for a walk through Sovetskaya Street, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at St. Nicholas' Church, and explore the ancient world of The Old Castle.

As the capital and largest city of Belarus, Minsk represents a cultural center full of churches, libraries, museums, and theatres.
Step off the beaten path and head to Kreva Castle and Archcathedral Holy Name of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Money Museum Groshi and Museum Strana Mini will appeal to museum buffs. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Minsk: Mir (Chapel and Burial Vault Svyatopolk-Mirskikh, Mir Castle, & more), Airplane Monument Partisan Airfield Il-14T (in Begoml) and Berezina Biosphere Reserve (in Domzharytsy).
