As the capital and largest city of Belarus, Minsk represents a cultural center full of churches, libraries, museums, and theatres.
Your inner history buff will appreciate Nesvizh Castle and Holy Trinity Church. Do some cultural sightseeing at Mir Castle and Church of Saints Simon and Helena. A sharp contrast to the capital of Minsk, Brest is a city filled with fortress ruins, old culture, and medieval history.
Kick off your visit on the 6th (Sat): take in the architecture and atmosphere at St. Nicholas Cathedral, then learn about all things military at Memorial Complex Brest Hero-Fortress, then see the interesting displays at War Museum - Territory of the World, and finally see the interesting displays at The 5th Fort Museum. On the 7th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: get engrossed in the history at Historical and Memorial Museum Nemtsevichi Estate and then get to know the fascinating history of Bielaviežskaja pušča National Park.

The capital city of the region of the same name, Grodno (also called Hrodna) was built around the river flowing through it, and is known as a hub for the arts celebrating both modern and classical culture with three major theaters, a philharmonic society, and a multitude of museums.
The Jesuit Catholic Church and St. Nicholas' Church will appeal to history buffs. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Kircha / Evangelistic Church and The Bernandine Church. The adventure continues: go for a walk through Sovetskaya Street, view the masterpieces at U Maystra Gallery, examine the collection at The Watchtower of the fire department and a Fire Museum, and pause for some serene contemplation at The Fraciscan Monastery and Church.
