As the capital and largest city of Belarus, Minsk represents a cultural center full of churches, libraries, museums, and theatres.
Venture out of the city with trips to Mound of Glory (in Slabada) and Dudutki Museum Complex (in Ptich). There's much more to do: get lost in a book at National Library of Belarus, take in the spiritual surroundings of Holy Spirit Cathedral, get outside with Trinity Hill, and don't miss a visit to Victory Square.

A sharp contrast to the capital of Minsk, Brest is a city filled with fortress ruins, old culture, and medieval history.
On the 18th (Wed), examine the collection at Brest Railway Museum, don't miss a visit to Brest Railway Station Building, then take in the pleasant sights at Sovetskaya Street, and finally don't miss a visit to Lights Alley. Keep things going the next day: take an in-depth tour of Memorial Complex Brest Hero-Fortress, then see the interesting displays at Saved Artifacts Museum, and then examine the collection at Berestye Archeological Museum.
