Step out of the city life by going to Île de la Cité and Ile Saint-Louis. Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Le Marais and Champs-Elysees. Step out of Paris to go to Versailles and see Palace of Versailles, which is approximately 48 minutes away. The adventure continues: explore the world behind art at Musee d'Orsay, don't miss a visit to Louvre Museum, admire the striking features of Basilique du Sacre-Coeur de Montmartre, and take a stroll through Montmartre.

Recife, Brazil to Paris is an approximately 15-hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and flight. You'll lose 4 hours traveling from Recife to Paris due to the time zone difference. Traveling from Recife in December, things will get cooler in Paris: highs are around 9°C and lows about 3°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 13th (Fri) so you can take a train to Amsterdam.
