Known as one of the greatest small cities in the world, Amsterdam charms visitors with its cool and cozy atmosphere.
Visiting Natura Artis Magistra and Het Twiske will get you outdoors. Your inner history buff will appreciate Anne Frank House and De Duif. When in Amsterdam, make a side trip to see Scheveningen beach in Scheveningen, approximately 1h 15 min away. There's lots more to do: admire the masterpieces at Rijksmuseum, take an in-depth tour of Van Gogh Museum, and steep yourself in history at Museum Het Rembrandthuis (Rembrandt House).

You can do a combination of flight and train from London to Amsterdam in 3.5 hours. Other options are to take a train; or do a combination of car and train.
