A truly contemporary city criss-crossed by history, Baku offers everything from the modern elegance of the Flame Towers to the medieval UNESCO-listed Old City at its core.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Baku Old City and Heydar Aliyev Center. Gobustan State Reserve and Ali Shamsi Studio will appeal to museum buffs. And it doesn't end there: see the interesting displays at National Museum of Azerbaijan Literature, don't miss a visit to Bibi-Heybat Mosque, appreciate the history behind Sculpture Girl on Bench, and take in the pleasant sights at Baku Boulevard.

As the capital and largest city of Belarus, Minsk represents a cultural center full of churches, libraries, museums, and theatres.
Money Museum Groshi and Museum Strana Mini will appeal to museum buffs. Get a sense of the local culture at Holy Spirit Cathedral and Belarus Aerospace Museum. There's still lots to do: wander the streets of Upper City, take in the architecture and atmosphere at St. Peter and St. Paul's Cathedral, relax and rejuvenate at some of the top local wellness centers, and get engrossed in the history at Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War.

A sharp contrast to the capital of Minsk, Brest is a city filled with fortress ruins, old culture, and medieval history.
Visit Kosava Castle and Spiritual and Patriotic Complex for their historical value. Step off the beaten path and head to Brest Railway Museum and War Museum - Territory of the World. The capital city of the region of the same name, Grodno (also called Hrodna) was built around the river flowing through it, and is known as a hub for the arts celebrating both modern and classical culture with three major theaters, a philharmonic society, and a multitude of museums.

Let the collections at Emigration Museum in Gdynia and Europejskie Centrum SolidarnoSci capture your imagination.
