The capital city of the region of the same name, Grodno (also called Hrodna) was built around the river flowing through it, and is known as a hub for the arts celebrating both modern and classical culture with three major theaters, a philharmonic society, and a multitude of museums.Start off your visit on the 1st (Wed): examine the collection at Pharmacy Museum, pause for some serene contemplation at The Jesuit Catholic Church, then take in the pleasant sights at Sovetskaya Street, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Kalozha Church Boris-Gleb Church, and finally delve into the distant past at The Old Castle.
