The capital city of the region of the same name, Grodno (also called Hrodna) was built around the river flowing through it, and is known as a hub for the arts celebrating both modern and classical culture with three major theaters, a philharmonic society, and a multitude of museums.
Do some cultural sightseeing at U Maystra Gallery and Museum of Glass Plant Neman. Visit Kalozha Church Boris-Gleb Church and Sovetskaya Street for their historical value.
