City of Seven Hills

Built on seven hills, Lisbon has experienced a renaissance in recent years, making it the cultural star of Portugal.
For shopping fun, head to Museu Calouste Gulbenkian or Avenida da Liberdade. Get some historical perspective at Mosteiro dos Jeronimos and Castelo de S. Jorge. When in Lisbon, make a side trip to see Cabo da Roca in Colares, approximately Colares away. Spend the 25th (Fri) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. It doesn't end there: make a trip to Belém Tower and admire the masterpieces at Museu Nacional do Azulejo.

The capital of Dutch industrial design, Eindhoven is known as the "City of Light." This is thanks to the technology company, Phillips, which has its base here and hosts many light projects in buildings around the city.
Do some cultural sightseeing at St. John's Cathedral and Castle Ruins & Velvet Cave. Venture out of the city with trips to Designer Outlet Roermond (in Roermond) and Maastricht (Maastricht Underground & Vrijthof). The adventure continues: brush up on your knowledge of spirits at Bottle Distillery and examine the collection at Philips Museum.

Known as one of the greatest small cities in the world, Amsterdam charms visitors with its cool and cozy atmosphere.
Start off your visit on the 29th (Tue): explore the world behind art at Rijksmuseum, take a stroll through Leidseplein, and then get engrossed in the history at Anne Frank House.
