Visit a zoo, museum, botanic garden, and historic site all in one when you spend time at Zoo de Martinique. The zoo is built around Habitation Latouche, a plantation that was destroyed and abandoned in 1902 after a volcanic eruption. The zoo surrounds the plantation and displays a modest amount of animals, mostly from the Americas. The habitats are spacious and clean and the animals healthy and active. Perfect zoo to visit with young kids! Takes about 1.5hr to walk through the beautiful grounds/garden. Very well signage within the zoo. Just for the vegetation is worth the price plus you don’t feel like it’s cages after cages. Lots of space. Easy walk even with a stroller. Highly recommend!

Nice Zoo with an amazing vegetation, very groomed garden but I missed a few animals like lokal spiders the Hercules beetle and the Martinique Lancehead. And it's quite expensive.
