Schengen, Luxembourg — 1 night

Schengen is a small wine-making town and commune in far south-eastern Luxembourg, on the western bank of the river Moselle, near the tripoint where the borders of Germany, France, and Luxembourg meet. Start off your visit on the 1st (Wed): examine the collection at European Museum Schengen and then learn about winemaking at Domaine Henri Ruppert. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: learn about winemaking at Domaine Viticole Schumacher-Knepper, then learn about winemaking at Caves des vignerons de Wellenstein Domaines Vinsmoselle, and then examine the collection at Musee A Possen.

Amman, Jordan to Schengen is an approximately 11-hour combination of flight and car. The time zone changes from Eastern European Standard Time to Central European Standard Time, which is usually a -1 hour difference.
