The capital and largest city in the country, Ulaanbaatar stands as Mongolia's transport, cultural, and commercial hub.
Spend the 4th (Wed) exploring nature at Gorkhi-Terelj National Park. Spend the 9th (Mon) exploring nature at Hustai National Park. There's much more to do: admire the landmark architecture of Gandantegchenling Monastery, pause for some photo ops at Zaisan Memorial, get engrossed in the history at Bogd Khaan Palace Museum of Mongolia, and don't miss a visit to Genghis Khan Square.
